FitMax ("FitMax", "we", "us") provides a web panel for fitness coaches and a mobile app for their clients. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and the choices you have.
1. Data we collect
- Coach account data: name, email, phone number, profile photo, language preference and gym or business details.
- Client data: information coaches add or clients submit, such as workout plans and logs, nutrition plans, body measurements, progress photos and chat messages.
- Usage and device data: app version, device type, notification tokens and basic logs used to keep the service reliable.
- Website data: this site looks up your approximate country from your IP address (via ipapi.co) only to show prices in the right currency. Enterprise enquiries you send through the contact form are delivered to our inbox via Web3Forms.
2. How we use data
- To run FitMax: deliver plans, sync workouts, store check-ins and power coach–client chat.
- To send notifications you or your coach trigger, including automated check-ins.
- To provide support, prevent abuse and improve the product.
- To respond to sales and enterprise enquiries.
3. Coach–client privacy
Progress photos, measurements and messages are visible only to the client and the coach they are connected with. Coaches control the plans they create; clients control what they submit.
4. Sharing
We never sell personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us run FitMax — such as hosting, real-time chat and push-notification providers — under agreements that limit their use of it, or when required by law.
5. Retention
We keep data while your account is active. When a coach deletes their account, or a client is removed, we delete or anonymise the related data within a reasonable period unless we must keep it by law.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted to authorised systems and staff, and we review our safeguards regularly. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your login codes private.
7. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Clients can also make these requests through their coach.
8. Children
FitMax is not intended for children under 16 without the involvement of a parent or guardian.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and update the date above.
